Just recently, my friends and I racked our brains on unique decorations for a baby shower we were throwing. We wanted something that was unique, but at the same time, cute. So we came up with diaper decorations. In this guide, I am going to show you how to create these diaper decorations and you may want to use them for an upcoming baby shower you may be throwing. These are easy to make and look great on tables.
What You Will Need:
Let’s begin with what you will need for these decorations. You can buy all of this stuff at the Dollar Tree. Other than the diapers, you will need to purchase them from somewhere like Wal-Mart.
Pack of Diapers
Bottles (how many will depend on the number of diaper decorations you are going to make)
Ribbon (You could do pink if it is a girl, blue if it’s a boy, or do multiple colors if you don’t know)
Creating The Diaper Decorations
Once you have all of the things you need to make these decorations, you can begin the process of making them. What you will want to do is take the diapers out of the pack. Wrap the diaper around a bottle and tie a ribbon around it to hold the diaper on the bottle. You can sit the decoration on tables with the bottle standing up.
If you got newborn diapers, it is best to wrap the diaper long ways around the bottle. Then run the ribbon around the center of the diaper and tie it. If you got the type of ribbon that you can curl with scissors, you can curl it to make it prettier. With newborn diapers, place them in the center of the bottle so that the bottle shows at the top and at the bottom.
Once the shower is over, the mother can take the diaper decorations home with her and place the diapers in a storage container or whatever she plans to put the diapers in. She can use the bottles also.
So by using these decorations, no money will be wasted. Other decorations will just be thrown in the trash. These can actually be used after the party. I wish I had taken some photos of the decorations to show you, but I think I have explained it well enough to give you a mental picture.
